Project Overview

Wigwamen is advancing its vision to create new housing opportunities through the development of 62 new units of affordable housing at 525 Markham Road. The need to create new affordable housing for individuals and families in Toronto continues to grow. Wigwamen is committed to closing this housing gap and creating new affordable housing with quality design, operations and supports that benefit tenants. This proposed project is an intensification of an existing affordable housing site owned by Wigwamen in Scarborough and involves the development of a new 6-storey building on the site. The project will include both indoor amenity space for community events and programming, and a green roof outdoor amenity space.
