Each year, the Wigwamen staff host a picnic for our tenants and their families, complete with food, fun and BINGO!
September 2010 will mark 10 years of hosting this great event!

Wigwamen's Annual Flower Power Contest:
This contest gives tenants a chance to show off their gardening skills for a chance to win cash prizes! During the summer, a few staff members visit the properties that entered to view all the beautiful gardens that have been planted.

Wigwamen's Scholarship Program:
Each year, Wigwamen awards scholarships to tenants enrolled in accredited colleges or universities. Scholarship applications are sent out in June and all tenants currently attending or enrolled in a post-secondary institution are encouraged to apply.

Volunteer Service Awards:
Each year, the Province of Ontario's Honours and Awards Secretariat, honours volunteers who contribute their time to communites across the province.
Wigwamen honours their Board of Directors for their outstanding commitment by nominating them for Volunteer Service Awards.
